2024 has passed, and 2025 has arrived. I firmly believe this year laid the foundation for the next 10 years. It is not just one year that has passed, similarly, the next represents more than just a new year.
The Unprecedented Rise of AI
The work done in the field of technology and artificial intelligence in 2024 has laid the foundation for the next decade. If we fail to understand this, we might not be able to prepare for the challenges and opportunities that 2025 will bring — for ourselves, for our children, or this world.
Before 2024, there was never so much discussion about replacing humans, replacing jobs, and replacing humanity. There was never much discussion that humanity is at risk.
AI has evolved so much. The things that emerged in 2024, the evolution of AI, robotics, IoT (internet of things), and LLMs, which have come to dominate now, were not in a production state earlier.
In 2025 and onward, they are coming into production. So far, you were just seeing hype, hearing things, and seeing some actions, some practical jobs being replaced, and many new jobs opening.
